- The Simchat Torah Project: Dancing Through the Tears a global project from Mizrachi aims to unite the Jewish world and honor the memory of the 1,200 souls lost on October 7th and the many hundreds since. Synagogues around the world will adorn one or more Torah scrolls with a cover designed to mark the day, in order to link communities together in both sorrow and celebration.
- The Simchat Torah Challenge is a Jewish communal project designed to inspire 10,000+ Jews of varying levels of observance to commit to reading the Torah for 15 minutes a week, starting on October 7th, 2024.
- The Shalom Hartman Institute is developing two commemorating rituals for the anniversary of October 7, one that spans most of the month of Tishrei for individuals to use at home, and one for communal gatherings on October 7 or on Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah.
