Prizmah: Center for Jewish Day Schools is committed to supporting Jewish day school and yeshiva leaders with research and data to support data driven decision making and providing landscape research for the Jewish day school ecosystem.
In partnership with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), Prizmah operates a Jewish day school and yeshiva benchmarking cohort within NAIS’ data collection and benchmarking tool called Data and Analysis for School Leadership (DASL). DASL is an online data collection tool designed for school leaders to find actionable on key school operational metrics such including admission, enrollment, salaries, development, financial operations and more. The tool gives individual school professionals the ability to create peer comparison groups and custom benchmarking reports on topics of interest.
Over 1800 independent schools in the US and Canada enter data annually into DASL.In the 2023–2024 school year, 122 Jewish day schools entered data into the two required sections, tuition and enrollment. This report is for heads of school, executive directors, business managers, development directors, admission directors, and boards of directors seeking fieldwide comparative financial and operations data.
