Pillars, Prizmah’s signature admission professional program, is a cohort-based leadership development experience for both seasoned and new admission professionals who aspire to deepen skills and leadership capacity both in their current and future roles. Over the past few years, admission professionals have had to strategically navigate new challenges in enrollment, customer expectations, and retention, all while expertly articulating  their school’s unique value proposition.

 

Program Overview

Throughout ten months of online cohort modules with both field experts and peer-to-peer work,  fine-tune your skills to strategically increase enrollment and retention at your school.

Each module has been designed and informed by questions, topics, and challenges facing critical and timely challenges that affect the work of admission professionals.

Laurie is a 19-year marketing and communications veteran, telling the stories of schools, non-profits, and small businesses. Her expertise lies in multi-channel marketing strategy and planning, content creation, cross-team collaboration, corporate communications, and digital media. She is proficient at implementing integrated solutions, setting a clear agenda, and managing brand identity and reputation.

Before she began her consulting career, Laurie built the marketing department at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, constructed the social media presence of multiple organizations, led the design and development strategy process for more than a half-dozen websites, established and grew multiple content channels including blogs, podcasts, and more. She also led crisis communications and managed ongoing communications strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Laurie holds a B.S. in Marketing & International Business from the University of Maryland, College Park and a M.B.A. with a concentration in Management & Corporate Communication from Fordham University. Laurie is the Founder and Chief Strategist of Elevate Next Level Communications and Marketing Strategy. She and David live in the D.C. ’burbs with their two boys who have boundless energy and are begging for a dog.

Miriam is the founder of Saddlerock Strategies, a boutique consulting service that works with schools and camps in enrollment strategy, program design and professional development.  She has worked in experiential and formal education and in strategic enrollment for more than 20 years. Miriam offers deep experience in understanding school dynamics and in strategic enrollment campaigns, having been responsible for recruiting for local schools and on national programs, while understanding that closing a deal with each individual family is what matters. She holds a BA in Jewish History from the University of Pennsylvania, and Masters Degrees in Education and in Jewish Studies from George Washington University. As a lifelong learner, Miriam is a graduate of Atidenu, Prizmah’s signature program in enrollment strategy training and in the Day School Leadership Training Institute (DSLTI). She lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC with her family and dog, Ruby.
